How to parse the resumes from Job Portals?

• Click on Web Parser Tab to open it, default page of Internet explorer is displayed.

Type Job Portal URL like http://www.monster.com in browser window.

 

• To login in Monster click on Login here shown in following picture.

Put username and password for Monster login.

• Following page is displayed, this is for Magic Search

• Put search criteria according to requirement as given in picture and click on button/ Press Enter Key.Search result page is displayed,

• Open appropriate resume and select the text of the resume which have to be parsed as shown in picture. 

•  Click on  button, selected text will shows in Resume parser window.

         Note:

1. In case you want to parse only selected contents, then don't select the attachment. Simply press the Parse button, It then parses the HTML contents only. 
2. In case you want to parse original resume with the HTML contents, you need to download the resume in a folder and then click select resume button as below.

• Click on  button, parsing will start. On successful parsing, it will display  the following message and parsed information will thus populate automatically in the corressponding fields.

• You can check the parsed information, You can modify or update any information shown in various tabs before submitting to the database.
• The parsed candidate information is saved in the database by clicking on   button; following message will be displayed on successful submission.

        

Resumes are now transfered to database. You can now perform the search and take and export dump of the candidate database. Click on Export Candidate Info Tab in Resume Parsing Utility to move ahead. Click Search & Export Candidate Infomation to see the help.

 

Note: In case resume is already in database, following  message is displayed 

       

Incase you see the above message, you need to click on  Duplicate Files Tab in parsing utility to take an appropriate action. Click  Handling Duplicate Resumes  page to see the help.

Duplicate resumes are those resumes, which were parsed earlier and you tried parsing them again. This may be because of the following reasons:

• Unknowingly you are trying to parse the same resume again.
• Candidate has sent the updated profile and you want to change/update his previous profile with newer information.
